(aka Pukeko Storytime)
The original Pukeko story, written by Golden Bay author, Marie Langley, was first published in 2006. Ten years later, Pukeko is dancing again with a flash new image!
Golden Bay artist, Dean Raybould, has taken the story of Pukeko’s love for dance and, through his excellent artwork, has re-imagined and re-created the illustrations. The pictures include an awesome blend of local landscape photographs, quirky speech bubbles and other curly, twirly bits. With a bit of help on layout and graphic design from Chloe Langley, Dean has brought Pukeko to life so well, that cheeky bird almost dances off the page!
